9 ‘Bachelor’ and ‘Bachelorette’ Biggest Villains, Ranked!

Reality shows like The Bachelor and Bachelorette thrive off of drama and a good storyline. The entertainment level of those storylines is dependent on how much chaos the villains of the show can stir up. There have been several shady and morally corrupt contestants on The Bachelor and Bachelorette, which have all made for some really great television. But who are the worst of the worst, the most treacherous of them all? Check out these The Bachelor and Bachelorette’s 9 biggest villains, ranked from bad to horrible to deplorable.

Olivia Caridi, The Bachelor Season 20

A newscaster, Olivia Caridi was envied by most of the other contestants on season 20 of The Bachelor because she was always stealing the guy from everyone else. She eventually gained more sympathy as her looks were called into question, being made fun of for her feet and mouth.

Samantha Steffen, The Bachelor Season 19

While she was only on the 19th season of The Bachelor for a short while, she made waves while she lasted. After trying to make up a backstory about how she knew the Bachelor, her lies were exposed.

Chad Johnson, The Bachelorette Season 12

This luxury real estate agent only lasted two episodes on season 12 of The Bachelorette, but made quite an impression during his short stint. He made history by being one of the hungriest contestants ever, who also had the strange exercise routine of chaining his suitcase to his waist while doing pull-ups. He also made waves when he refused to describe what he loved about the bachelorette since he had only just met her — which actually makes a lot of sense. What a novel idea!

Vienna Girardi, The Bachelor Season 14

Vienna Girardi didn’t resonate with fans or fellow contestants from the start. What made matters worse was her spoiled persona, and the fact that she had a big break up with Jake Pavelka on screen. She definitely caused major drama and made for good entertainment while on the show.

Trish Schneider, The Bachelor Season 5

Trish Schneider went down in history for wearing a shirt on the show that read, “Gold Digger — Like a Hooker, Just Smarter.” She was eventually eliminated, but came back and offer to spend another evening with the bachelor. His answer no.

Kelsey Poe, The Bachelor Season 19

Kelsey Poe ended up being one of the most hated villains of all time. She made some strange comments about her husband’s death that just rubbed most people the wrong way. And when it was time for her to be eliminated, she faked a panic attack to try to avoid the axe.

Wes Hayden, The Bachelorette Season 5

Wes Hayden was an aspiring country singer and contestant on season 5 of The Bachelorette. He made it all the way to the final four, and in the rejection limo started bragging about having a girlfriend back home outside of the show.

Joe Bailey, The Bachelorette Season 11

This contestant turned out to be a total jerk, when he tricked a single mom in order to stay in the competition. He effectively became known as Paradise Enemy Number 1. About all he was worthy of was dropping the gem, “Rose before bros!”

Juan Pablo Glavis, The Bachelor Season 18

This Bachelor is likely one of the most despised bachelors in the show’s history. He treated the contestants awful and was not shy about his disgusting behavior. He also made anti-LGBT comments in regards to having a gay Bachelor.
