Meet Juniper, The Cutest Fox In The Whole World

Have you ever thought about having a fox as a pet? You definitely will want one after this article! Foxes can be wild, naughty, and exhaustingly agile, but one thing we can say for sure is that their cuteness overweighs all possible disadvantages. Imagine waking up to a furry red face peeking at you from behind the blanket! Isn’t it the best thing in the world? Jessica Coker can tell you much more about owning a fox than anyone else because she’s a proud ‘parent’ of Juniper Fox, a charismatic cutie who has become a real Instagram star over the last year. She shares her home with Moose the dog, two Sugar Gliders, and another fox named Fig. If you think their life together is packed with adventures – you’re absolutely right! Meet Juniper, the cutest fox in the whole world.

Can you imagine waking up to this cuteness sleeping by your side? Jessica Coker explains that her foxes, Juniper and Fig, were not meant for living in the wild as they were bred indoors only for their fur.

Foxes like this wouldn’t be able to live outside due to their ‘tame’ behavior They’ve been bred in captivity for more than 150 years!

If you think foxes can become great pets, we have bad news for you. In the end of the day they still act like little wildlings! Sometimes they act similar to cats and dogs, but their wild manners still prevail.

You can’t simply go and buy a fox. If you want to become a proud owner of this beauty, you’ll have to get a special permit.

You can get a permit from the state’s department of natural resources, but you’ll need to pass certain qualifications before you are granted a permit to own a fox. Becoming a fox keeper is not that easy!

If you’re still certain you want to own a fox, keep it in mind that they need to eat raw meat on a daily basis. Raw meet contains a compound called taurine, which foxes need to survive. You can also add some fruits and veggies for the vitamins.

But be careful if you have some marshmallows on the table – these foxes are huge fans!

Foxes don’t sleep that much. Their main sleeping time is between 4 a.m. and 9 a.m., but you might have trouble sleeping at night before that as Juniper will parade all around the house playing with everything that gets in her way.

But just like cats, foxes like to fall asleep with their humans. So you’re in for some furry treat at night!

Like most animals foxes like attention. Sometimes Juniper will wake her owner during the night just to get her head scratched!

Don’t expect foxes to be all warm and fuzzy 24/7. They are as independent as are cats and will come to you only when they feel like it.

Not many people know that foxes are pretty smelly. Their pee smells a lot like skunk! This means you’ll have to train your fox pets to use potty when indoors, otherwise your house can become uninhabitable.

Juniper and Fig are potty trained, but they still like to mark their territory. It’s in their nature!

You should also be prepared to endure the curiosity of these creatures. Think cats are pretty naughty and like to peek into each and every corner? Well, foxes are twice as curious!

They are also very friendly, so it’s okay if you have other pets roaming around the house.

Not many people know this, but foxes can be really sassy. Jessica Coker admits that Juniper is the sassiest thing on Earth!
