10 Celebrities Who Admitted To Using Dating Apps

Today, online dating is one of the most common ways to establish romantic relationships. And dating sites are popular not only among ordinary people but also among celebrities — actors, singers, and musicians. If you go digging in someone’s past, you can find the profiles of some very well-known stars on the largest dating sites. Naturally, there are hundreds of fake accounts out there, but here are some officially confirmed ones.

1. Leonardo DiCaprio

Leo’s profile was found on one of the most popular dating sites a few years ago. True, it hasn’t been active for a while but, the fact of its existence remains. Even though DiCaprio prefers beautiful models to random strangers from the Internet, there’s no denying he was looking for some love back then. His close friends say that DiCaprio downloaded the dating app just out of curiosity and to look at the beauties, without anything more serious in mind.

2. Katy Perry

Who would have thought that a catch like Katy Perry would stoop down to online dating? In one of her early interviews, Perry admitted that in the past, she used Tinder, although we don’t know if she actually hooked up with anyone or not.

3. Amy Schumer

In Amy’s book The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo, she revealed that she met her ex-boyfriend, Ben Hanisch, using an online dating app. If Amy Schumer could find a life partner, how hard can it be?

4. Zac Efron

It’s almost impossible to imagine someone as popular as Zac having relationship problems, but you can’t escape from reality. What’s funny was that even after the actor created his Tinder profile, nobody believed it was the real Zac Efron. But when something sounds too good to be true, who can blame them?

5. Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay Lohan was first spotted on a dating site in 2013 when she explicitly confirmed this on Twitter. After that, she went through several unsuccessful flings until she settled on Egor Tarabasov for a while. That relationship didn’t last long, however, and she changed her status to single again.

6. Khloe Kardashian

After Khloe broke up with the basketball player James Harden in 2016, her friend Malika recommended the starlet to try her luck on a dating site. Before that, she never even considered online dating as a possibility, but for the sake of her friend, Khloe decided to give it a whirl, and apparently, she had a lot of fun!

7. Demi Lovato

In her 2017 documentary, Demi Lovato: Simply Difficult, the actress revealed that she had a profile on one of the dating sites in the past. But instead of focusing on love or one-night stands, she was just looking for some fun conversations with both boys and girls.

8. Mila Kunis

Mila Kunis does not hide the fact that she is registered on several popular dating sites at once. However, as the actress explains, she did it only out of curiosity, to see how it all works. So, in other words, if you see a movie star on Tinder or the likes of it, you have to curb your enthusiasm and keep your hopes as low as possible.

9. Halle Berry

Even before meeting her last husband in 2012, Halle Berry was hooked on dating sites. She was registered there under a fake name, but that didn’t stop her from going on dates. One of those lucky strangers was her hubby. Well, ex-hubby, to be specific.

10. Britney Spears

When Spears appeared on The Jimmy Fallon Show in 2014, the host convinced Spears to register on a dating app. It may have all just been a publicity trick, but who knows, maybe she did meet someone there. Britney was advertising her perfume line back then, so she used a promo photo as her profile picture. Yeah, that might have been a bad move.
