Top 6 PlayStation 5 Games We Can't Wait To Play

Recently, Sony held an online presentation of their long-awaited next-gen console – PlayStation 5. During the hour-and-a-half-long stream, we got to see its slick, futuristic design that I personally love, but a lot of viewers were quite displeased about it.

Sadly,
we still don’t know how much PlayStation 5 will cost. According to
unofficial leaks, its price will be around $450-500. We also got a
look at a wireless headset, HD camera, and remote control. Of course,
aside from the looks and specs, we were shown dozens of new games, so
let’s take a quick glance at some of the most interesting ones!

1.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Spider-Man
for PS4 was an incredible hit, and this future installment looks even
more promising. It will not be a full-fledged game, however,
but a standalone expansion. Basically, it will be shorter, with dope
new powers for Miles, and will serve
as a bridge between the previous and future games. In this day and
age, the world needs as many black heroes as possible, and Miles
Morales is the
perfect candidate! The new web-crawler is coming to PS5 sometime
around Christmas and I’m steaming with
anticipation.

2.
Godfall

Judging
from the trailer we saw, Godfall will be Gearbox’s attempt to create
a better, more fun Destiny, with cool-looking armor sets, weird
weapons, and all that good stuff. If
Gearbox’s Borderlands games are any indication of the quality we
should be looking forward to, I’d say Godfall will be a fantastic
time-killer. There’s no release date yet, but Christmas 2020 sounds
about right.

3.
Project Athia

When
Sony showed us the trailer, we knew this one would be special. In the
world of sequels, reboots, and remakes, Project Athia feels like a
breath of fresh air. From Square Enix, the people who gave us Final
Fantasy, comes an action RPG that… we don’t know anything about.
Hey, it looks sick, and right now, that’s all that matters.

4.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits

What
would happen if an animation studio decided to make a game?
Apparently, Kena happens! Like with many of these newly-announced
games, we just don’t know much beyond the footage shown in the
trailer. To me, it looks like a lot like Zelda BotW, but obviously,
with a different, more appealing design. Combat, exploration, magic –
it’s all there, and I can’t wait!

5.
Ghostwire: Tokyo

Japan
is known for many things, like, anime, their love for tentacles, and
of course, the horrifying folklore and urban monsters. In Ghostwire:
Tokyo One, we’ll be playing as an exorcist of some sort, kicking the
spectral butts of ghosts, ghouls, and other nightmarish creatures. If
that doesn’t scream “FUN!” I don’t know what does.

6.
Horizon: Forbidden West

And
lastly, we have the crowning jewel of the presentation – the sequel
to Horizon: Zero Dawn (2017). Aloy, whom we know and love from the
previous installment, is journeying the post-apocalyptic world filled
with mechanical beasts. This time she’s traveling to California, and
you bet we’ll find some strange things along the way. The
mecha-mammoths alone are worth the time of admission.
