A Real Mini Art Gallery for 7 Lovely Budgies by Rebecca Keen

To all of you sitting at home chilling with your pets, wouldn’t you love to make their day even better than it is now? Of course, you would!

Rebecca
Keen, a resident of Delaware, whom you may know from her famous
gerbil art gallery, did not know what else to do in quarantine, so
she made a miniature art gallery for her budgies. She’s got seven of
them, by the way.

Here’s
the overview. As you can see, not much action is happening… yet.

Edvard
Munch’s Scream becomes the Squawk, of course.

Michelangelo’s
Creation of Man turns into the Creation of Bird. Obviously.

Now
what the squawk is a miniature art gallery for pets? Thanks for
asking! You see, when a person is even somewhat talented and has
amazingly creative ideas, they can get away with low-quality content.
Yeah, I said it, this gallery is not filled with masterpieces, but
the paintings, or should I drawings, are serviceable and very cute to
look at.

Johannes
Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring is now a budgie.

And
Van Gogh’s ever-fantastic Starry Night is taken to the next level and
became Starry Flight. ‘Cuz birds, get it?

Rebecca
redrew iconic paintings from different eras, and to make them more
appealing for the birds, she drew the “paintings” with her
beloved budgies as the main characters. And as you’re about to see,
they really appreciate Rebecca’s thoughtfulness!

Here’s
Van Gogh’s famous Sunflowers, but it’s Millet now. And budgies
love it!

Last
but not least, we have green, blue, and yellow squares, which was
based on the painting of Piet Mondrian “Composition with Red
Blue and Yellow.”
