Celebrities That Brought Their Parents To The Oscars

One of the hardest choices
about being a celebrity must be that once you’ve put in all the hard work and
made it to the Oscars, who do you bring? Do you bring a date? Someone the press
knows or someone they don’t know and will write about? Or do you come alone?

These celebrities
figured that while it might be easy to thank your parents in your acceptance
speech, there’s no “thank you” like inviting your parents to the Oscars.

Jennifer Lawrence

J-Law brought both her
parents to the 2013 Academy Awards, and got to celebrate by winning an award
for her work in Silver Linings Playbook.

Bradley Cooper

Bradley doesn’t mind
bringing his mom, Gloria Campano, to the Oscars. In fact, he’s done it twice
already: in 2013 and in 2019!

Leonardo DiCaprio

The 2014 Academy
Awards saw Leo DiCaprio arrive with his most stunning date so far: his mom,
Imelin Indenbirken.

Lady GaGa

Lady GaGa brought her
proud father to the 2015 Academy Awards. Joseph Germanotta seems to share his
daughter’s sense of style.

Amy Adams

Amy didn’t just bring her mom Kathryn to the 2019 Academy Awards, but her sisters Anna and Julie were welcome as well.

Margot Robbie

The 2018 Academy
Awards saw the introduction of Sarie Kessler, also known as Margot Robbie’s
mom.

Charlize Theron

Much like Bradley
Cooper, Charlize Theron brought her mom, Gerda Maritz, to the Academy Awards in
2013 and 2019.

Jared Leto

In 2014, Jared Leto
brought his mother Constance and brother Shannon to the Oscars, and he won an
Oscar for best supporting actor that night too!

Chris Evans

Is there anything more heart-warming than seeing Chris Evans show up at the Oscars with his mom Lisa?
