The Most Beautiful Waterfalls On The Planet

Sometimes, Mother Nature creates the most beautiful things. For example, at a certain point she followed a river and went all “it should drop down here”. When people asked what she meant, she replied: “like down, dozens of feet – straight down”. People were a bit skeptical of her ideas, but who were they do argue with Mother Nature?

Let’s take a look at some of the most beautiful waterfalls this planet has to offer, but remember the wise words of TLC and don’t go chasing them.

Kaieteur Falls
This waterfall is a part of the Amazon forest, in the Potaro-Siparuni region of Guyana.

Plitvice Lakes Waterfalls
In beautiful Croatia, even waterfalls are more magical. It’s part of a natural park near the Bosnian border, in the eastern part of the country.

Sutherland Falls
New Zealand also has some amazing waterfalls. It’s in the southwestern part of the country, and as far as I know, no scenes for the Lord of the Rings trilogy were filmed there.

Yosemite Falls
Yosemite Valley in California has some of the most beautiful nature you can find in America, and of course a beautiful waterfall had to be a part of it.

Angel Falls
These aren’t too far from Kaieteur falls. Angel falls are in Venezuela, near the border with Guyana.

Gullfoss
When talking about beautiful nature, surely Iceland comes to mind. East of Reykjavik, these waterfalls are waiting for you to visit. Seriously, they told me. Don’t keep them waiting, they’re not very patient.

Ban Gioc-Detian Falls
These waterfalls grace the Chinese-Vietnamese border. A perfect stopping location for your next road trip through Asia, wouldn’t you agree?

Niagara Falls
We’ve all heard of these. They’re in Ontario, Canada and they’re freakishly huge.

Iguazu Falls
Another one in South America! These falls can be found in Iguazu national park, which is on the border between Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay.

Victoria Falls
These last falls are found in Africa, on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. They’re a marvel to behold, so remember this for your next visit to Africa!
