7 Best “Girls Gone Bad” Characters in Movies

The society dictates us how to behave and do good deeds, but sometimes it just feels so good to be bad. It’s a very popular movie trope as well. Here are 7 best “girls gone bad” characters in movies!

7. Madison Lee, “Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle” (2003)
What has to happen to a person to make them go from a Charlie’s Angel with a Nobel prize, to a vengeful Goddess of Death? Turns out, if someone leaves you to die after a failed mission, there’s a good chance you’ll turn evil.

6. Sarah Bailey, “The Craft” (1996)
Great, just what a small Catholic High School needed – a coven of witches! To be fair, Sarah used to be a lonely, yet kindhearted young lady, but that was before she fell in love with the Wicca life-style. You know the saying “power corrupts, and ultimate power corrupts ultimately”? Well, that’s what happened to Sarah, and by the end of the movie she still wasn’t as F-d up as the rest of her fellow witches.

5. Candy, “Spring Breakers” (2012)
Oh my, it’s already been 6 years since this movie came out? Wow, how the time flies… Anyway, remember Vanessa Hudgens’ character Candy? Yeah, neither do I, but apparently she went through a heck of a transformation! One day she’s a lovely young lady, the next she is a dangerous sociopath!

4. Cady Heron, “Mean Girls” (2004)
Ah, a classic, finally! … Cady lived peacefully in Africa for 12 years, before coming to North Shore High School, where one day she met the Plastics. They were the popular but mean girls, and Cady made it her mission to destroy Queen Bee’s reputation, after that skank started dating Cady’s boo. It was a heck of a 180!

3. Sandy Olsson, “Grease” (1978)
Oh look, a musical! How did you get on this list, little fella? I love me a good musical number, especially by Olivia Newton-John. She plays Sandy – just a plain boring girl from next door. Everything about her screams innocence, and cliché pie-baking-mother-of-three. But then she meets Travolta’s character, who prefers girls who can kick his arse, apparently. So, of course, Sandy transforms into Travolta’s ideal babe. The message sucks, but the movie is great!

2. Carrie White, “Carrie” (1976, 2013)
Almost all previously mentioned movies were quite timid, compared to “Carrie”. You just slap some bad behavior and some latex on them, and boom, there’s your “girl gone bad”! Stephen King, however, has a different approach. Carrie was a tiny little mouse, invisible to most people. At home she was abused by her mother. As you may know, Carrie has psychic powers, but she’s afraid to use them, always suppressing them… until the prom night. Oof, that was a literal blood bath!

1. Selina Kyle, “Batman Returns” (1992)
Me-ow! Who else would get the #1 spot but this bad kitty? Once a twitchy secretary, Selina somehow heard a secret she shouldn’t have heard, and got left for dead in an alley. A bunch of stray kitties licked her back to life, and sh#t suddenly got real. She started wearing a skin-tight latex cat suit, and starts punishing bad guys left and right. And of course, the new Catwoman, flirts with Batman like there’s no tomorrow! A total 180 again.
